Research-based review. Features and prices are checked on the vendor's own website, and the score is worked out from those facts. We haven't tested it hands-on yet.

The verdict

Worth it for teachers who plan many resources on a small budget; the catch is that there are no student features, and slides come as an outline only.

Pros

  • It has more than 120 tools, including lesson and unit plan generators and an Assessment Builder for standards-aligned quizzes and tests.
  • The free plan gives 24 generation credits a month and does not ask for a credit card.
  • Resources export to PDF, Google Forms, Google Docs or Word.
  • It collects no student information, and its OpenAI and Anthropic agreements bar them from training on inputs or outputs.

Cons

  • Differentiation, one-step revisions, YouTube transcripts, document chat and AI images need Pro.
  • It produces a slides outline, not slide decks.
  • It has no student accounts, no feedback on student work and no LMS integrations.

How the Spec Score works

Scored from what Eduaide publishes on its own site. Not a hands-on test.

Compared with 6 AI teacher platforms. Facts checked 15 Oct 2026.

A fact the vendor does not publish gets half the points, or the typical value for a number, and says so. It never counts as a no. How we score.

Eduaide is a teacher-only AI toolkit with more than 120 tools for lesson and unit plans, worksheets, graphic organizers, games and assessments. Whether it suits you comes down to how many resources you make each month, since the free plan runs on 24 generation credits and the Pro plan removes that ceiling.

What is Eduaide?

Eduaide is based in San Francisco, California, and runs in the browser. It is built for teachers only, with no student accounts, and it uses OpenAI and Anthropic models. Pro is for individual teachers, and Schools & Districts is priced by quote with volume discounts.

What Eduaide makes for teachers

The toolkit covers the planning side of the job, and you can build on your own standards:

  • Lesson plans and unit plans from dedicated generators.
  • Quizzes, tests and checks for understanding from the Assessment Builder, aligned to standards.
  • Worksheets, graphic organizers and games, plus rubrics, which can also be added to a resource on Pro.
  • A slides outline as one resource type. Eduaide does not build slide decks.
  • Differentiation, document revision, one-step revisions and AI image generation, all on Pro.

You can start from uploaded documents such as PDFs and Word files, or from a website. On Pro you can also use YouTube transcripts as source material and chat with a document. Free allows fewer uploads than Pro, which allows 3 documents. Eduaide has no student submissions, so it does not give feedback on student work. Its evaluator reviews the resources it generates.

Working with students and schools

Eduaide has no student-facing features, so students never log in and there are no student seats. Resources leave the platform as files: export to PDF, Google Forms, Google Docs or Word for handouts, your own reference or posting on your LMS. Google Docs export needs a connected Google account. Eduaide names no LMS integrations, so you post exports by hand.

Schools and districts can request pricing or a demo. They get priority support, and the Schools & Districts plan is custom priced with volume discounts.

Eduaide pricing: what each plan gives

Eduaide, Pricing

The Free plan is always free with generation limits and does not ask for a credit card. It gives 24 generation credits a month, where a lesson or unit plan costs 3 credits and an evaluation costs 2. Free has shorter inputs than Pro, and differentiation, one-step revisions, YouTube transcripts, document chat and AI images need Pro.

Pro is $4.17 a month billed yearly, which is $49.99 a year, or $5.99 billed monthly. It is aimed at teachers who want unlimited resource creation with document revision, differentiation, image generation and richer source context.

Schools & Districts is priced by quote.

Privacy and security

Eduaide is a teacher-facing platform that is neither designed nor directed toward anyone under 18. With no student-facing features, it does not require, request or collect any student information. Its privacy policy includes a statement covering the EU GDPR, UK GDPR and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection.

On training, its API agreements with OpenAI and Anthropic mean those providers are unable to use any inputs or outputs to train or improve their models. Support is by email and a contact form with same-day replies, an FAQ and a Facebook community, with priority support for schools.

Who Eduaide suits

Eduaide suits teachers who want a low-cost way to generate lesson plans, worksheets and assessments from their own standards and documents. At $4.17 a month billed yearly, Pro is the lowest-priced paid plan among these teacher platforms, and the toolkit gives plenty of resource types to choose from.

It suits less well teachers who want students to use the AI themselves, or who want feedback on student writing, since students have no accounts and the tool does not take in their work. A teacher who needs finished slide decks will find only an outline here.
