Claid is an AI image studio and API for e-commerce: it creates product photoshoots, puts clothing on AI fashion models, removes backgrounds, upscales, extends and edits images, and turns stills into short videos. What decides whether it suits you is how many images you process each month, since every operation costs credits, and whether you work in the web studio or through the API.

What is Claid?
Claid is run by Let's Enhance, Inc. It started as an answer to the company's own problem with low-quality product photos for e-commerce platforms. Today it has two parts: Claid Studio, a web workspace for image production, and the Claid API for automated workflows. There is no mobile or desktop app.
For large catalogs, Claid's team also builds fully managed custom workflows, including repeatable model identities and connections to a PIM or DAM.
Making product images with Claid
AI Photoshoot. AI Photoshoot creates a new product visual from your product image and a text prompt, with up to four results per run. Inspiration mode uses another image as a visual reference, and Background mode uses a reference image as the scene. Templates cover styles such as minimal, nature, flatlays, kitchen, spa, fabric, city and interiors. A photoshoot costs 4 credits, or 10 at Studio Quality.
AI Fashion Models. This tool turns clothing images into on-model fashion content, including flat-lay to model and face swap. Poses come from a curated set, and Precise mode keeps the product where it was placed. Through the fashion API and custom fashion workflows, a brand can keep a repeatable model identity across its images.
Background removal. Background removal costs 1 credit an image, with general, prompted, interactive and car-specific modes, and you control how the finished cutout looks.
Upscaling and expanding. The upscaler enlarges images 2x or 4x, by percentage or to set dimensions, for 2 to 8 credits. Native generation goes up to 4K on Pro and Business and up to 2K on Essentials, and downloads reach 128 MP on Pro and 559 MP on Business. Image Expander extends an image through crop, resize, outpaint or canvas mode, at 2 credits per generation.
Edits, text and video. Erase Brush, Object Eraser, Remove People and AI Edit by text instruction let you change part of an image. Add Text places styled messages such as "Shop Now" on the image while keeping the product labels from the source photo. Image-to-video turns a still into a 5- or 10-second clip with motion, speech and sound, at 60 credits per 5 seconds.
Claid exports raster images, PNG with a transparent background and JPG, with size presets for Shopify, Amazon, Meta and Instagram; there is no SVG output. You cannot train your own model or style; custom model identities are built by Claid's team in managed workflows.
Working with other people
Pro and Business add batch processing, a priority queue and brand kits. Claid has no shop or catalog connectors and is not a Shopify app: images are downloaded or returned by the API, and nothing is posted or scheduled from Claid.
The API uses a declarative interface. Its Batch endpoint takes a list of image URLs or a cloud storage folder on AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage or the web, and the default rate is 4 requests per second. Enterprise API plans come with SLAs, and Business plans add a dedicated customer success contact.
Claid pricing: what each plan gives

Every operation costs credits: 1 for a background removal, 4 for an AI Photoshoot, 2 to 8 for an upscale and 60 for 5 seconds of video. The free trial gives 50 credits for any operation, access to all Standard tools, 50 API credits and 24 hours of history, with no video.
- Essentials: $15 a month, or $9 a month billed yearly, for 500 credits a month, enough for 125 AI Photoshoots or 500 background removals.
- Pro: $49 a month, or $35 a month billed yearly, for 2,000 credits a month, with batch processing, a priority queue and brand kits.
- Business: priced by quote.
API credits are sold separately as one-time packs, with 1,000 credits for $59.
Privacy and security
Claid does not train on customer images, though its terms let it use uploaded content in de-identified form to improve its products and services. Under the GDPR, you are the data controller and Claid acts as a data processor, and a Data Processing Agreement is offered.
Commercial use of generated images is included on every plan, and Claid claims no ownership of your uploads. It gives no indemnity for generated images: the indemnity in its terms runs from you to Claid. Support is by email at support@claid.ai, live chat and a help center.
Who Claid suits
Claid suits online sellers and fashion brands that need a wide range of image work in one place: photoshoots, on-model apparel, cutouts, upscaling and short product videos. Teams with large catalogs can automate the same steps through the API, feeding in lists of image URLs or a storage folder, and Pro adds brand kits and batch processing.
It suits less well anyone who wants images to flow straight into a store, since Claid has no shop connectors. Brands that want to train their own model or style without a managed project, or need vector files, will not find that here, and video costs 60 credits for every 5 seconds.
