Research-based review. Features and prices are checked on the vendor's own website, and the score is worked out from those facts. We haven't tested it hands-on yet.

The verdict

Worth paying for if your store handles enough chats and tickets to justify a monthly fee plus per-ticket charges, but small shops will find the entry cost high.

Pros

  • The Chat Agent recommends products, adds them to the cart and fills checkout up to the payment step.
  • The Inbox Agent works inside Zendesk, Freshdesk, Thulium and the Allegro and Amazon inboxes a store already uses.
  • All data and conversations stay in the EU, and customer data never trains external AI models.
  • Every plan includes unlimited dashboard users, and onboarding and human support come at no extra cost.

Cons

  • There is no free plan, only a 7-day free trial.
  • The Inbox Agent charges per resolved and per processed ticket on top of its monthly fee.
  • There is no WhatsApp, SMS, Messenger or Instagram channel and no public API.

How the Spec Score works

Scored from what AskSpot publishes on its own site. Not a hands-on test.

Compared with 9 AI support agents. Facts checked 31 Oct 2026.

A fact the vendor does not publish gets half the points, or the typical value for a number, and says so. It never counts as a no. How we score.

AskSpot is a pair of AI agents for online stores: a chat agent on the storefront that answers product questions and helps shoppers to the cart, and an inbox agent that resolves support tickets. Whether it suits you depends on your volume, since both agents are billed as a monthly fee plus a charge per conversation or ticket, and on whether your store platform and helpdesk are among its integrations.

What is AskSpot?

AskSpot is made by AskSpot sp. z o.o., based in Kraków, Poland. It runs as a web dashboard plus a chat widget installed on your store, and every plan includes unlimited dashboard users.

The product has two parts that are sold separately. The AI Chat Agent sells on the storefront, and the AI Inbox Agent reads, classifies and prioritises incoming messages in the store's helpdesk and marketplace inboxes.

What AskSpot does for your customers

The Chat Agent answers product questions, recommends products and guides customers from question to cart. It adds items to the cart and fills in checkout up to the payment step, and shoppers can speak to the chat by voice. It reads the product catalogue, stock and order status from the store platform. The agent supports more than 200 languages.

The Inbox Agent works through chat, email and marketplace inboxes such as Allegro and Amazon. It sets ticket status, routes and tags tickets, and collects and forwards order cancellations and changes. Inbox rules pair a condition with an action, and custom scenarios add named, store-specific instruction flows with version history. AskSpot has no helpdesk of its own: the Inbox Agent works inside Zendesk, Freshdesk, Thulium or the marketplace inbox you already use.

A Test mode and a Draft mode let you roll the Inbox Agent out with care; in Draft mode it writes the reply and your team sends it. The agent learns from your team's replies, and its answers draw on Q&A entries you write, content taken from your own website, and files you import such as CSV, XLSX and PDF.

When a shopper needs a person, the Chat Agent hands the conversation to the store's existing live chat with a summary, and after hours it opens a ticket in the helpdesk. Supported live chat and helpdesk tools include Thulium, Freshdesk, LiveChat, SALESmanago, edrone, Pubble and Tawk.to. There is no WhatsApp, SMS, Messenger or Instagram channel.

Analytics include dashboards for revenue, resolution and rating, a searchable conversation explorer with per-chat detail and a weekly email report. Each conversation is tagged with a topic, outcome and customer rating; there is no sentiment analysis. The widget's colour, name, avatar or logo and custom CSS can all be set.

Store integrations

The integration catalogue holds 15 named integrations: Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, PrestaShop, Shoper, IdoSell, AtomStore, RedCart, BaseLinker, Allegro, Amazon, Klaviyo, Zendesk, Freshdesk and Thulium, with custom integrations on request. A custom setup connects with one script tag and your catalogue and order APIs. There is no public AskSpot API and no webhooks.

AskSpot pricing: what each plan gives

AskSpot pricing screenshot
AskSpot, Pricing

AskSpot bills in euros, monthly only, with prices excluding VAT. There is no free plan; both agents come with a 7-day free trial that needs no credit card, and there is no setup fee.

The AI Chat Agent is €250 a month (shown as $290 in the vendor's USD view) for up to 1,250 AI conversations a month, unlimited dashboard users and all integrations. Extra conversations are $0.22 each in the USD view, and spam and single-message chats are not billed. Additional domains are charged on top.

The AI Inbox Agent is €120 a month (shown as $150) as an infrastructure fee. On top of that, each ticket resolved without a human costs $0.22 and each processed ticket $0.06 in the USD view. Higher volumes and tailored plans are quoted on request.

Privacy and security

AskSpot does not train on your data: "AskSpot does not use Customer Data to train or fine-tune models made available to other customers", and customer data and conversation content never train external AI models. The agent's own self-learning uses a store's data for that store only.

All data and conversations stay in the EU, hosted on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud in European data centres, with Azure OpenAI in the EU, and each customer gets an isolated environment. No other region is offered. A DPA is available, and AskSpot's security commitments cover the GDPR and the EU AI Act. There is no SOC 2 report, no ISO 27001 and no single sign-on. Onboarding and human support are included, with support by email and a contact form that promises a reply by the next business day.

Who AskSpot suits

AskSpot suits online stores, especially those selling on Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop or Polish platforms such as Shoper and IdoSell, and those handling Allegro or Amazon messages. It fits a store that wants an agent to sell on the site and another to clear routine tickets inside the helpdesk it already runs, with data kept in the EU.

It suits less well a small shop looking for a free plan, since the cheapest agent is €120 a month before ticket fees. Stores that need WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger support, a public API or single sign-on will not find them here.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does AskSpot cost?

The AI Chat Agent is €250 a month for up to 1,250 conversations, and the AI Inbox Agent is €120 a month plus a fee per resolved and processed ticket. Prices exclude VAT, billing is monthly, and both have a 7-day free trial with no card.

Can AskSpot hand a customer over to a person?

Yes. The Chat Agent passes the shopper to your existing live chat with a summary, and after hours it opens a ticket in your helpdesk.
