A webhook is an automatic message. When something happens in a tool, such as a form being filled in or a video finishing, the tool sends the details to a web address you choose. Another system can then act on it straight away.
02Why it matters when you are choosing
Webhooks are what make automations instant. Without them, other systems have to keep asking the tool whether anything has changed. They are also how tools connect to platforms like Zapier, Make and n8n.

Check which events can trigger a webhook, whether failed deliveries are retried, and whether webhooks are on your plan.
