How the Spec Score works

Scored from what Rezi publishes on its own site. Not a hands-on test.

Compared with 7 AI resume builders. Facts checked 31 Oct 2026.

A fact the vendor does not publish gets half the points, or the typical value for a number, and says so. It never counts as a no. How we score.

Rezi is an AI resume builder built around getting a resume through applicant tracking systems, with a Rezi Score, keyword targeting, cover letters and AI interviews. Whether it suits you depends on how you like to pay, since Pro is a monthly subscription and Rezi also sells a one-payment lifetime plan with every feature.

What is Rezi?

Rezi runs on the web, with apps for iOS and Android and a Chrome extension. The mobile app matches you to open roles, and the extension fills in job applications for you.

Rezi also has an MCP connector, the Rezi Resume MCP server, which lets you reach your resumes from inside AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and Gemini.

Building your resume with Rezi

The AI Resume Writer drafts your bullet points, and the AI Resume Editor reworks what is already there. Both are on the free plan. You can start from scratch or import a LinkedIn profile as the base for a resume.

The Rezi Score rates a resume against 23 key metrics meant to help it pass applicant tracking systems. AI Keyword Targeting checks the resume against the job you want and tailors it with that job's keywords. Both the score and the keyword targeting are limited on the free plan and full on Pro.

The AI Cover Letter Writer builds a cover letter from your resume content, aimed at a specific job. AI interviews let you practise answering questions, with one interview on the free plan and unlimited on Pro. Pro also includes one expert resume review a month.

For the search itself, Rezi finds open roles, saves job posts and tracks every application in one place. The Chrome extension auto-fills applications on Workday, Greenhouse, Lever and other application systems, and you press submit yourself; Rezi does not send applications on your behalf. Rezi imports a LinkedIn profile but does not review or rewrite it.

Named template designs include Standard, Modern, Compact, Harvard, Jake's Resume, Simple and Minimalist; the free plan uses the Standard format templates. A finished resume downloads as PDF or DOCX, or saves straight to Google Drive.

For schools, agencies and employers

Pro and Lifetime are licensed for personal use, and using them on behalf of other people or organisations is not allowed. The Enterprise plan covers universities, agencies and career sites instead. Rezi also has a public API for employers, used to source and message candidates.

Rezi pricing: what each plan gives

Rezi pricing screenshot
Rezi, Pricing

The free plan needs no payment. It gives 1 resume, 1 AI interview, 3 PDF downloads, the Standard format templates, the AI Resume Writer and AI Resume Editor, and a limited Rezi Score and keyword targeting.

Pro costs $29 a month and gives unlimited resumes, AI interviews and downloads, all templates, the full Rezi Score and keyword targeting, and one expert resume review a month. The Lifetime plan gives all features for one payment of $149. Enterprise costs $99 a month per 200 seats, for universities, agencies and career sites.

Privacy and support

Rezi's privacy policy sets out the data protection rights you hold, including those under the GDPR. Support runs by email at support@rezi.io, with user guides in the Rezi docs.

Who Rezi suits

Rezi suits job seekers who want an AI-scored resume aimed at applicant tracking systems, with keyword targeting for each job and AI interview practice in the same account. The lifetime plan makes sense for anyone who expects to job hunt more than once and would rather pay one time than keep a subscription running.

It suits less well anyone who wants to do much on the free plan, which allows one resume and three PDF downloads. Career coaches and agencies cannot use Pro or Lifetime for clients, and anyone wanting a LinkedIn profile review will not find one here.
