Remini is a mobile and web AI photo and video enhancer built around faces, unblurring and restoring old photos, and it enlarges images up to 2x. What decides whether it suits you is whether you want to fix blurry faces and shaky shots on your phone, paid for mostly by the week, or need large enlargements for print.

What is Remini?
Remini is owned by Bending Spoons and run by AI Creativity S.r.l. in Milan, Italy. It comes as an app for iOS and Android and as Remini Web in the browser, and the web and app subscriptions are bought and billed separately.
The mobile app is free to download, with ads and in-app purchases. Remini once offered an API for developers, but that service has been discontinued.
The app and Remini Web are bought separately, and each has its own help centre. Remini Web offers two plans, Personal and Business, and Personal can be bought weekly, monthly or yearly.
Upscaling with Remini
Remini makes photos and videos up to 2x larger, with images reaching up to 4096 x 4096 pixels. Its focus is repair more than size. The Face Enhancer brings out facial detail in portraits, and the Unblur and Sharpener tool removes motion blur, camera shake and focus problems. A denoiser is also offered.
The Video Enhancer enhances and enlarges videos, so the same fixes reach clips as well as photos. On Remini Web, video enhancement comes with the Business plan.
Batch processing is on the Remini Web Business plan, which enhances up to 15 photos at the same time. Business is also where the Photoshop plugin and commercial use sit.
Images are uploaded and processed on Remini's servers rather than on your device. Your data is kept on those servers only for the short time needed to provide the tool's features.
Restoring old photos is one of Remini's main uses, alongside fixing faces and blur in new shots, and the enlarger can then make the result up to 2x bigger.
Remini Web for business
The Remini Web Business plan is the one meant for work: it gives unlimited images, output as JPG, PNG or TIFF, video enhancement, no watermark, high-priority processing and commercial use. It adds bulk enhancement of up to 15 photos at once and a Photoshop plugin.
Personal plans on Remini Web output JPG, and commercial use of results is a Business plan feature rather than part of Personal.
Remini pricing: what each plan gives
App prices come from Remini's own US App Store listing, where most plans bill by the week:
- Remini Lite Weekly: $4.99 to $7.99 a week.
- Remini Pro Weekly: $9.99 a week.
- 1 Month: $9.99.
Remini Web is billed separately. Personal comes weekly, monthly or yearly, with 20, 80 or 1,040 images per period and JPG output. Business gives unlimited images. Both are priced in US dollars on a paywall that appears after sign-up.
The mobile app can be used free with ads, and Remini Web downloads carry a watermark without a subscription. A Remini Web subscription removes the watermark from your downloads.
Privacy and security
In some jurisdictions, Remini uses personal data to improve its photo and video editing and generative features only with your consent, so your uploads train its AI only if you opt in. Face data of people in the US is not used for training.
Remini's privacy policy is written in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Support runs through a contact form inside your account, separate help centres for the web and the app, and email at hello@remini.ai.
Who Remini suits
Remini suits phone owners who want to rescue blurry selfies, shaky shots and old family photos quickly, with face enhancement as its strongest tool and video enhancement on top. Remini Web Business suits teams that need unlimited images, TIFF or PNG output, batch work and a Photoshop plugin.
It suits less well anyone who needs large enlargements, since Remini goes up to 2x and 4096 x 4096 pixels. Most app plans bill weekly, commercial use needs the Business plan, and the API has been discontinued.
